Heath Shackleford is an experienced marketer and national thought leader with 15 years of varied experience and a master’s degree in mass communications. Earlier in his career, he led strategic communications campaigns for global brands such as Arthur Andersen, Deloitte Consulting and Northwestern Mutual while with top-ten PR firm Ketchum in Chicago. He also has a decade of experience successfully promoting organizations that improve society through the delivery of health and wellness programs to millions of Americans. He’s made the rounds as a sports writer, an adjunct professor and even has experience in such things as hip hop songwriting and calf scrambling (just ask and he’ll explain).
Traci Failla is an award-winning public relations and marketing communications consultant with nearly 20 years of experience. As a consultant to not-for-profits, she has increased grassroots involvement, spearheaded fundraising drives and directed branding and marketing strategies. Traci has served on the auxiliary board for the Anti-Cruelty Society and the steering committee for St. Matthias School in Chicago, where her leadership efforts on its largest fundraiser resulted in a 60-percent increase in net profits in one year. She also provides pro bono services through the Taproot Foundation. Formerly a vice president in the brand practice at Ketchum, Traci gained great experience in cause-marketing, supporting clients such as Lions Clubs International and the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation, among others.
With two decades of experience in PR and marketing communications, Jill Morino has led results-oriented programs and teams for a diverse base of clients. Jill has worked for companies big and small, as well as non-profit organizations, providing expertise on general brand building, copy writing, trade shows and public relations. While with agencies such as The Harbinger Group, Ketchum PR, Edelman, Zeno Group, GCI Group and DBA Marketing Communications, Jill has added value to countless clients. Jamie Reeves is a native Middle Tennessean with 20 years of experience in writing, editing, corporate communications, PR, and social media who started her career at Vanderbilt University’s News and Public Affairs Office. A successful blogger who enjoys writing about parenting and family travel (all with a touch of humor), her parenting website BlondeMomBlog is regularly featured in The Tennessean’s Family section. As a mom blogger she has been invited to attend events hosted by national brands such as Honda, Nissan, Kleenex, GE, and Bosch. She is a brand ambassador for Nintendo and Lee Jeans and has participated in social media campaigns by Arm & Hammer, Dove, and Vicks. She and her tech entrepreneur husband have two daughters.
